Moores Rowland International – the future player in Russia ?
I am currently doing some work for one of the Big 4 firms in Moscow, recruiting a tax manager for them. It has been some years since I have actively worked in the Russian market and in the course of updating my knowledge of firms in the region, I came across this recent press release from MRI:
Eight Russian member and correspondent firms of Moores Rowland International’s global association of independent firms have started merger talks. The firms involved have offices in various business centres, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Kazan and Novosibirsk.
Paul Hancock, Executive Director of MRI, said “These merger talks mark an exciting phase in MRI’s representation in the Russian market, to create a company with potential earnings in the region of 1 billion (milliard) rubles per year.”
If this figure is reached, it may well become the largest Russian audit and consulting firm.
One to watch ?
