King & Spalding hires Kevin Conway to launch London tax practice

King & Spalding (for those of you who do not know the firm) is a US law firm with 800 lawyers and offices in Atlanta, Houston, NY, Washington DC and London. They represent more that half of the Fortune 100.

The London office has announced a number of strategic expansion plans, including a new service line in tax. Kevin Conway has been hired to launch the London tax practice. He is coming in as a partner and was previously with Clifford Chance, based in their international tax group. The London office was opened in 2003 and now has 20 lawyers.
