Roy Ramsbottom has been elected as the new chairman of the ICAEW’s Farming and Rural Business Group . He is a senior partner with Murray Smith, based in Cheshire.

Roy qualified in 1968 and has specialised his career in the agricultural sector. He is a leading figure in the complex world of agricultural taxation and is also a member of the Expert Witness Institute, concentrating on farming disputes and divorces.
