Tax Law Firm, Caplin & Drysdale, hires Robert Green
Caplin & Drysdale, the boutique tax law firm based in Washington, has continued its tradition of hiring senior figures from the Revenue and Treasury with the addition of Robert Green.
Mr. Green’s experience ranges across a broad spectrum of international tax issues. Before joining Caplin & Drysdale, he was the Director, International of the Internal Revenue Service. In that position he was in charge of cross-border negotiations and controversies with the United States’ many treaty partners, and involved in numerous other tax issues including cost sharing, Advance Pricing Agreements, and other transfer pricing matters. Mr. Green’s professional experience includes serving as the Vice President of Tax Policy for the National Foreign Trade Council, a trade association comprised of U.S. multinational companies, and as tax counsel to a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
The firm now has 52 tax attorneys.
