C2 Group hires Shahira Knight as tax partner

C2 Group, the Washington based government affairs firm, has hired Shahira Knight as a partner. Shahira has been Senior Adviser to the House Ways and Means Committee since 1999 and has played a leading role in all major tax legislation debated by Congress since then. Her job at C2 will focus on tax, pensions, benefits and healthcare issues.

Prior to 1999 Ms Knight was with PwC in Washington working as an associate in the National Tax Services office.
