Deloitte’s global careers site wins award

Deloitte’s careers site has won an award from the US HR Magazine ‘Workforce Management’. The category was Global Outlook which recognises "the company that has created a program or strategy to help the organization succeed in the world marketplace."

To quote from the Workforce website: "The winner is professional services company Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, which developed a global recruitment Web site that has proved critical to aligning the firm’s overall recruitment strategy with the organization’s business strategy. The site-development strategy addressed the extremely challenging recruiting and staffing needs of Deloitte’s member firms, which employ 115,000 people worldwide and were facing difficulties meeting their hiring needs, thereby compromising the future growth of the business."

I agree that the Deloitte careers site is easy and quick to use and, unlike the rest of the Big 4, you can do a global search with one click. My one suggestion for improvement would be to introduce a ‘jobs by email’ function.
