John O’Kane new FD at Jarvis plc
Jarvis plc has announced the appointment of John O’Kane as a Director of the Company. John will join the Board at the end of April and will replace Alasdair Marnoch as Finance Director, assuming that role at the end of May 2006. Alasdair will continue as Finance Director until the end of May to enable a controlled handover of responsibilities.
John O’Kane joins from a brief period at Eco-Bat Technologies Limited, where he was Group Finance Director. Previously, he was Group Finance Director of both Peterhouse Group plc and Kelda Group plc. Aged 47, John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and has previously held senior management roles with ICI and Samsung Electronics in the UK and with KPMG in South Africa.
