Philip M Jacobs will be new Director of Taxes at AIG
American International Group, Inc. (AIG) has announced that Philip M. Jacobs will join AIG in July as Vice President and Director of Taxes. Mr. Jacobs will report to Steven J. Bensinger, AIG Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jacobs succeeds Peter K. Lathrop, who is retiring.
Mr. Jacobs presently serves as Vice President and Global Tax Director, GE Insurance Solutions. Prior to that he was Europe and Asia Tax Director, GE Insurance Solutions, based in Munich, and before that served as Senior Tax Advisor at GE Capital Corp. Before that he was Senior Tax Manager, Ernst & Young, serving more than ten years in the Philadelphia, National, and New York offices. Mr. Jacobs earned his A.B. Degree from Princeton University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
