Deloitte names John Connolly as UK CEO for a third term

Deloitte in the UK has announced the re-election of John Connolly as Senior Partner and Chief Executive for a third term.

John Connolly has served as Chief Executive and Senior Partner of Deloitte UK since 1999 and is also the Chairman of the Global Management Committee of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Deloitte UK brought forward the election process for the Senior Partner and John Connolly has been re-elected to serve until 2011.

John Connolly has spent his entire professional career with the firm in a variety of roles both in the UK and abroad and has lead the firm during a period of high growth and unprecedented change in the profession.

Commenting on his appointment, John Connolly, said: “I’m delighted and proud to lead Deloitte in the UK for a third term. The firm has achieved success over the last few years by placing a massive emphasis on our people as well as paying obsessive attention to client service and quality. During the period of my leadership our revenues and profits have grown respectively 347% and 500%.”
