KPMG comes 5th in FT Best Workplaces Awards
KPMG LLP (UK) has come fifth in the large companies’ category of the Financial Times Best Workplaces Awards. KPMG was the only Big 4 firm to feature in the list with an overall placing of twentieth, an increase from twenty-fourth position last year. The other top five organisations were British Gas, Microsoft, Admiral and Wragge & Co.
John Griffith-Jones, CEO, KPMG LLP (UK) said of the achievement: “This is more good news and further confirmation of the excellent progress we have made in ensuring that KPMG really is a great place to work.”
The rankings are two-thirds based on responses to an employee survey and one-third on a culture audit detailing Human Resources practices, policies and programmes. The survey included large as well as small and medium sized companies.
This accolade follows the recent Sunday Times “10 Best Big Companies to Work For 2006” award.
