Bracewell & Giuliani Recruits Wealth Management Expert
Bracewell & Giuliani LLP has announced that tax attorney Mickey R. Davis of Mickey R. Davis & Associates will join as a partner to head the firm’s wealth management practice.
"Mickey will continue our tradition of offering value-added services such as personal wealth management to our individual clients as well as to executives and officers of our institutional clients," said Patrick Oxford, Bracewell & Giuliani managing partner. "We are delighted that Mickey has chosen Bracewell."
Davis’s colleague Christine Borrett will also be joining Bracewell as an associate in the Tax Section. Both Davis and Borrett will focus on estate planning, probate and other wealth management services.
“While our practice emphasizes sophisticated estate and gift tax planning, our primary concern is to listen to our clients’ needs and to communicate their options in an understandable way,” said Davis. “Whether we are preparing wills or trusts, assisting with the settlement of an estate or implementing asset preservation strategies, our focus is on ensuring our clients understand their options so their wishes are implemented without unnecessary taxes or expense. We joined Bracewell because we share the same commitment to our clients."
Davis earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law with high honors in 1982. He is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a certified public accountant, and a fellow of the American College Trust and Estate Counsel.
