David Sproul new Head of Tax for Deloitte UK

David Sproul is the new head of tax for Deloitte in the UK.

Sproul is an Andersen man and in fact I used to work for him when he was a senior manager of Tax Group 2 at Surrey Street. He lead Andersen’s corporate tax practice from 1996 to 2000 and was responsible for the smooth integration of Andersen staff into Deloitte in 2002. Since 2004 he has been managing partner of talent at Deloitte.

He succeeds David Cruikshank who has been head of tax since 1998
