Tim Lyford named Head of Corporate Tax
Tim Lyford has been named head of corporate tax at Smith & Williamson’s Central London office. Tim specialises in financial services and property taxation including establishment of investment funds and advising on the tax-efficient structuring of investment and development property purchases and disposals. He manages the taxation advisory and compliance function for Smith & Williamson’s 54 in-house unit trust and open-ended investment companies, which include property limited partnerships and exempt property unit trusts.
Tim is a director of Smith & Williamson and a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Markets Group. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and sits on the Tax Committee of the Investment Management Association.
