12 new Directors promoted at Deloitte Birmingham, UK

Business advisory firm Deloitte has strengthened its senior management team in Birmingham by promoting a dozen employees to director.
 
Richard Day and Jo Haslehurst have been promoted within the international assignment services team and Adam Wilkinson in tax. The other promotions were in audit, corporate finance, consulting and finance. The 12 promotions follow a successful six months for Deloitte, which now has 1000 people based in the Midlands.
 
Richard Edwards, practice senior partner at Deloitte in Birmingham, said: “The people we employ are our biggest asset. The quality of our staff is what sets us apart and gives us the advantage in the marketplace. These latest promotions demonstrate the breadth of talent that we have at the firm in each of our key business disciplines and the quality of service that we can offer our clients from experienced professionals.”
 
Deloitte employs 600 people at its office in Brindleyplace, which is set to increase even further in September when it takes on another 75 as part of its annual graduate intake. Mr Edwards said: “The business is performing well across all sectors thanks to the hard work of our people, who are key to the firm’s ongoing success.
