ex AT&T Tax Director to lead Investor Relations for ITT Corp
ITT Corporation has announced the appointment of Peter J. Milligan to the position of Director, Investor Relations. Most recently, Milligan led the Investor Relations department for AT&T. In his new role, Milligan will be ITT’s key interface with the investment community. He will report to Chief Financial Officer George Minnich. Milligan replaces Robert Powers, who was recently appointed Vice President of Strategy for the company, reporting to Aris Chicles.
“Peter’s investor relations experience and his financial background were critical in our decision to bring him to ITT,” said Minnich. “At AT&T he was a valued member of the Investor Relations organization for approximately six years and he will be an excellent addition to the ITT management team, leading our well-established Investor Relations program. Robert Powers has done an excellent job in this role for the last four years, and I’m delighted that he will bring his solid credentials to our Corporate Strategy team.”
Prior to his investor relations role, Milligan was a Tax Director for AT&T. Before joining AT&T in 1994, he was a Senior Consultant for Price Waterhouse. Milligan earned a B.A. in Public Accounting from Hofstra University, and an M.S. in taxation from Seton Hall University. He is currently pursuing an MBA from New York University.
