Harold Adrion Joins US Accounting Firm Eisner as Tax Principal
Eisner LLP, a premier middle-market accounting and business advisory services firm, announced that Harold Adrion, 52, has joined the firm as a tax principal.
Harold specializes in international taxation, and has advised US and foreign-based multinational public and privately held enterprises and individuals on domestic and international tax issues for more than 25 years. He is recognized as a leading tax practitioner on cross-border and international transactions and tax planning, including advising on mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other business arrangements and relationships.
Harold also devotes much of his time to individual international tax issues, including personal investments, employment, and immigration matters. He has advised significant investors with respect to corporate finance arrangements and international private equity funds. He has worked extensively with the Treasury and IRS on tax treaty issues and has obtained a number of competent authority rulings regarding treaty issues. Recently, Harold worked on a project that resulted in the issuance of regulations on the application of the portfolio interest exception in the context of partnerships.
Transfer pricing is another area where Harold brings significant experience to the firm. He has prepared a number of transfer pricing reports for Eisner clients and has obtained advance pricing agreements.
A frequent and popular writer and speaker, Harold has spoken for the Tax Executives Institute, International Fiscal Association, and the American Bar Association and is a regular contributor to Tax Notes, Tax Notes International and Tax Management International Journal.
