UK Law Firm Mills & Reeve expand Tax Team

Mills & Reeve has announced the appointments of John Turnbull-Kemp and Matthew Short who both join the corporate tax team in Cambridge.

Previously with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he trained and qualified, Matthew Short joins the team as a tax solicitor. Matthew has wide-ranging experience, including corporate and international work.

John Turnbull-Kemp, who is taking up the position of director of VAT services, has moved from chartered accountants, Saffery Champness where he was a partner. John has built a strong reputation in the application of VAT to the ‘not for profit’ sector and has previously worked for educational establishments, housing and sports associations, and welfare charities.
