Emma Gaudern to lead private client team at DWF
Law firm DWF has appointed associate solicitor Emma Gaudern as head of its private client department in Manchester.
Emma joins from Irwin Mitchell, formerly Alexander Harris, in Altrincham, where she ran the private client team. She specialises in wills, tax planning and trusts, and also acts for individuals in receiverships and court of protection matters.
DWF managing partner Andrew Leaitherland says: “Emma’s appointment will strengthen the private team in Manchester by giving it its own dedicated head of department. Private client services are a particular focus of growth for DWF and the department has trebled in size since the beginning of the year due to increasing demand, in particular for wills and tax planning. We expect to see continued expansion in the year ahead.”
