Dr. Stefan Behrens advises German Eckes Group on takeover

Clifford Chance recently advised the German Eckes Group on its takeover of the Melitta Group’s 26% shareholding in Eckes-Granini GmbH & Co. KG.

The shares were transferred as of 30 November 2006. Eckes now holds 100% of the shares in the fruit juice manufacturer Eckes-Granini GmbH & Co. KG.

The Clifford Chance team was led by counsel Stephan Gittermann (Corporate Finance) and included partner Dr. Stefan Behrens (Tax), counsel Albrecht von Graevenitz (Corporate Commercial) and associate Nico Naumann (Corporate Finance), all in Frankfurt.
