New CFO at Pace Micro
Pace Micro Technology has announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer, Stuart Hall. Stuart, currently Group Finance Director at IQE plc, is expected to join Pace in early April 2007 and will succeed current Finance Director David Brocksom. Stuart will join the Pace Board and executive team in driving forward the existing change programme to reinvigorate the business and improve performance.
Before joining IQE Stuart was Finance Director of Energy Squared Limited and Director of Performance Management for Energis Group plc. He has also been Finance Director at WBF Ltd, part of the Adare Printing Group plc, Finance Director at Carnography plc and Finance Director at Race Electronics. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at BDO Binder Hamlyn.
Neil Gaydon, Pace’s Chief Executive Officer commented: “At IQE Stuart has been part of an executive management team that has seen strong growth in the company’s sales and market capitalisation. This background, combined with Stuart’s experience of working within technology and consumer electronics businesses, will enable him to play a crucial role as we continue to move forward at Pace.
Mike McTighe, Pace’s Chairman added: “I am delighted that Stuart will be joining the Pace Board as we begin to see the real benefits of the change management programme put in place by Neil Gaydon this summer. At the same time I would like to thank David Brocksom for the important contribution he has made to Pace’s transition over the last three years.”
David Brocksom will leave the Company on Friday 2nd February 2007. In the intervening period Damien Wilkinson, Pace’s Group Financial Controller who has been with the Company for over six years, will lead the finance team.
