Russell Cohen to join Farrer & Co’s Tax team as Partner

UK law firm, Farrer & Co. has hired Russell Cohen to its tax team as a partner, effective 1 May 2007. He joins from Lawrence Graham, where he is currently an associate.

John Carrell, head of the Farrer & Co tax practice said, “International tax advice, particularly for wealthy families moving to the UK has been a major growth area for Farrers. Russell has specialised in offshore tax for 6 years and will provide valuable support for us in this area. We are delighted to welcome him to the team as a partner.”

Mark Bridges, a senior partner in Farrer & Co’s private client team added, “Russell’s strong contacts in the Channel Islands complement our existing relationships and his arrival will strengthen the offshore tax advice that we can give our private clients across the board.
