We are looking for a Tax Manager to work with the Head of Tax and other members of the team to manage the group’s tax risks around the world as the group expands internationally.
The role will include the following:
* You will work closely with the Business to understand key strategic and commercial drivers for the business and assess the tax consequences of new projects or transactions.
* You will have involvement in developing and implementing tax planning projects
* Involvement in the group’s tax compliance and tax reporting processes
* Manage implementation of approved tax strategies
* Provide practical advice to the commercial teams on the tax impact of specific business transactions and actively project manage as required
* Maintain good contacts and manage relationships with external professional advisers
* Represent the group on relevant industry bodies and assist in the preparation of representations and assist with the group’s lobbying activities.
Skills, knowledge and experience:
* Strong academic background
* Experience PQE gained within a large tax practice or commerce
* Strong commercial outlook
* Exposure to Indirect Tax and Employee Tax issues
