Selective Insurance Group hires Chakravarthi as VP Treasury & Taxation

Selective Insurance Group, Inc. has announced the following appointment by its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America:

Sarita G. Chakravarthi (Cheshire, CT), to vice president of treasury and taxation. Prior to joining Selective, Ms. Chakravarthi was a senior tax manager for Aetna, Inc. She holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree from Madurai University, India, a Masters in Tax from the University of New Haven, New Haven, CT and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT. Ms. Chakravarthi has received the Certified Public Accountant designation from the state of New Jersey and has been a member of the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
