Susan Ball and Rachel Skells to chair new CIOT branch

 In CIOT

The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) has announced the establishment of a new Branch in Suffolk. The CIOT is the leading professional taxation body in the UK. It has a Branch network that spans the UK as well as three international Branches. John Cullinane, CIOT President, says: “As a charity, the CIOT is committed to ensuring everyone has a better understanding of the tax system. A new Branch will allow us to focus on Ipswich and the surrounding areas. It not only helps our Members and others who live in the area by making CIOT events available to them, it also allows us to develop stronger relationships with the local media and MPs.”

The Branch has appointed Rachel Skells and Susan Ball as joint Chairs. Susan Ball is Director of Employment Services at Prettys Solicitors. Rachel Skells is a partner at local firm Whittle & Co. She specialises in financial services and charity clients.

Helen Brookson has been appointed as Secretary and Andre Roden as Treasurer.
