3 New Tax Partners at Lovells
Lovells has elected a record 31 new partners with effect from 1 May 2007. Of these, 3 are tax lawyers:
Domenico Borzumato – Tax, Rome: Domenico has a degree in law from the University of Macerata and a first class honours degree in economics and a Masters in International Tax, both from the University of Rome. He joined the tax practice in Lovells’ Rome office in July 2003, prior to which he was a partner in Andersen Legal in Italy. Domenico is an international tax practitioner who qualified as a Certified Public Accountant.
Michael Dettmeier – Tax, Dusseldorf: Michael obtained a PhD in law at the University of Cologne. He joined the corporate tax department of Lovells’ Düsseldorf office in October 2001, prior to which he worked as a lawyer in the KPMG Cologne tax department. Michael provides tax advice in real estate, insurance & reinsurance and M&A/restructuring. He is a specialist in IFRS accounting. He is a specialist in IFRS accounting.
Philip Harle – Tax, London: Philip obtained a first class honours degree in law from Cambridge University. He joined Lovells as a trainee and qualified in March 2001. Philip has built a broad tax practice, specialising in banking and capital markets work.
