Former Tax Attorney elected as Chairman of HCC Insurance

HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. has announced that J. Robert Dickerson has been elected as Chairman of its Board of Directors and Lead Independent Director. Mr. Dickerson, who is a retired tax attorney, is 65 years old and has served on the Board since 1981. Mr. Dickerson is currently Chairman of the Compensation Committee and a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee.
