CHILTERN’S CORPORATE TAX TEAM WINS ‘BEST TAX TEAM’ AWARD

Chiltern’s Corporate Tax team won the Lexis Nexis Butterworths Taxation Award for ‘Best Tax Team in a Large Firm’ on 24 May 2007.

The award follows four years of remarkable growth of Chiltern’s dedicated Corporate Tax team, in which it has doubled its fee income and size, and significantly expanded its client base among UK and international corporates.

Team leader Bernard Sweet collected the award from presenter Fiona Bruce at last night’s event, which brought together over 750 practitioners from across the UK’s tax profession at the London Hilton, Park Lane. The annual Taxation Awards ceremony is the most prestigious set of awards for the tax profession in the UK.

Bernard Sweet said: “I am absolutely delighted that the success of our team has been recognised in this way. It is testimony to the energy and dedication of our people.”
