Chinese Accounting Firm, LehmanBrown, opens in London
LehmanBrown International Accountants has opened their first European sales and liaison branch office in the UK. The office, which has been conducting business for the past few weeks, underscores both the regions increasing interest in establishing operations in and around China as well as the increasing desire of domestic Chinese enterprises in exploring market opportunities abroad.
The new UK office is currently responsible for coordinating cross border business and investment with China, catering to UK-based businesses with China or potential China operations and Chinese companies seeking to establish a presence in UK.
LehmanBrown Managing Partner Russell Brown explained, “Our UK presence gives us a great opportunity to further project our China market expertise and should be a valuable asset to us and our clients moving forward.”
Harby Janagol, the UK Director, remarked, “LehmanBrown has demonstrated tremendous and continued growth in China, we now seek to help take China out of China.” Mr. Janagol, according to Mr. Brown, “brings years of management accounting and business experience to us; he is a fellow FCMA and we are very excited to have him join us.”
