Craig T. Williams Joins KPMG’s SALT Practice as a Direct Entry Tax Partner

 In Armanino McKenna, KPMG, SALT

KPMG in the US has announced that Craig T. Williams has joined the firm’s State and Local Tax (SALT) practice as a direct-entry partner in the firm’s San Francisco office.

Williams has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, most recently as a tax partner with Armanino McKenna LLP, a leading regional CPA firm in California. Prior to that, he was a partner at another Big Four accounting firm, where he headed the firm’s SALT group in the Pacific Northwest.

“Bringing someone of Craig’s position into the firm benefits not only our clients, but our partners and employees as well,” said Tim Gillis, national partner in charge of KPMG’s SALT practice. “In today’s complex and multi- disciplinary world, Craig’s experience and versatile skills are an immediate asset to the SALT practice, as well as across the firm.”

“Craig will be a great addition to an already very strong KPMG SALT team in one of the most dynamic markets in the country,” added Rob Lang, partner in charge of KPMG’s Western Area SALT practice.
