Debevoise & Plimpton promote NY Tax Associate, Vadim Mahmoudov

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP has announced that Vadim Mahmoudov will become partner of the firm, effective July 1, 2007. Mr. Mahmoudov is resident in the New York office.

Vadim Mahmoudov, based in the firm’s New York office, is a member of the firm’s Tax Department. His practice concentrates on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcies and restructurings, and private equity fund formation. Mr. Mahmoudov joined Debevoise in 1999. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 1999 and his LL.M. in Taxation in 2002 from New York University School of Law, and his B.S., cum laude, in International Finance and Commerce in 1993 from Georgetown University.
