Wedlake Bell makes up new tax partner
UK Commercial law firm Wedlake Bell has promoted Corporate Tax solicitor Michael Ridsdale to the partnership. This brings the number of partners in the firm to 42.
Michael Ridsdale qualified at Hammonds in 2001 and joined Wedlake Bell in January 2005. Michael is the second Corporate Tax partner at Wedlake Bell, working alongside existing Corporate Tax partner Robin Dabydeen.
Michael advises on all aspects of UK taxation that affect UK and overseas businesses. He advises on a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions,reorganisations, joint ventures and MBOs. Much of Michael’s experience relates to tax planning in relation to real estate transactions, where he has a particular expertise in VAT. In addition, Michael advises on the application of double taxation conventions and international tax law generally.
