McGinley joins Bracewell & Giuliani from Skadden Arps
Bracewell & Giuliani LLP has announced that Elizabeth L. McGinley has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office, where she will work in the Tax Section.
Ms. McGinley’s primary practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and real estate transactions.
Her broad background includes corporate tax, partnership tax, private equity and financing arrangements. During her career, she has represented major public corporations, private investors, entrepreneurs and real estate developers.
“Liz’s diverse background in tax will dovetail nicely with our expanding transactional practice,” said New York Managing Partner Daniel S. Connolly. “We are pleased to welcome her to the Bracewell team.”
Before joining Bracewell, Ms. McGinley was counsel at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP. She is a graduate of the New York University School of Law and a Certified Public Accountant.
Bracewell opened its New York office in April 2005 after former New York City mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani joined as a name partner. Since then, the firm’s New York office has quickly grown to more than 40 attorneys.
