New International Tax Partner Joins Moss Adams LLP
Moss Adams LLP has welcomed Michael Ferguson, CPA, CMA, to the firm as a partner in its International Services Group.
Mr. Ferguson has been in public accounting in Seattle for 15 years, most recently as International Tax Services leader for Ernst & Young’s Seattle and Portland offices. He has extensive experience in international taxation of inbound and outbound transactions of U.S. and foreign businesses and individuals, tax efficient structuring and financing for acquisitions and dispositions, and tax planning for international business structuring.
“Michael’s decision to join Moss Adams is a tremendous opportunity for the Seattle office and the firm,” said Dave Schilling, Seattle office managing partner. “Michael brings a lot of depth and experience working with upper middle market companies who have operations outside the U.S. His knowledge of international tax structuring and planning will expand the international services we have been able to offer to our clients.” He adds, “Michael will use our strong Northwest reputation and his direct experience with clients to grow our international services practice far beyond what we’ve been able to do thus far.”
Mr. Ferguson is a frequent speaker at professional conferences such as the World Trade Institute; Alliance for Tax, Legal and Accounting Seminars (ATLAS); and Tax Executive Institute (TEI). He has a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Washington State University and has obtained accreditation as both a CPA and CMA.
