New Tax Partner at Sidley Austin
Sidley Austin LLP and its affiliated partnerships have named 36 new partners in five U.S. offices, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London and Tokyo, bringing the number of partners at the firm to 659.
This includes 1 new tax partner, Laura Barzilai.
Laura is based in New York office and focuses on federal income tax matters. She advises clients primarily in the areas of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, tax-free reorganizations, joint ventures, restructurings and other major corporate transactions, and domestic and foreign securities offerings.
Ms. Barzilai, who had been counsel, received her LL.M. from New York University School of Law, her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and her B.A. from Wellesley College.
