BDO STOY HAYWARD WINS STEP PRIVATE CLIENT AWARD

BDO Stoy Hayward has won ‘the Accountancy Team of the Year’ award at the STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Awards ceremony in London.

The STEP Private Client Awards were started in 2006 and highlight excellence among professionals advising and managing family wealth. The winners are chosen with emphasis on organisations that make their dedication to clients paramount. This year’s awards were hosted by the BBC’s political editor, Andrew Marr.

Wendy Walton, Head of Private Client Services at BDO Stoy Hayward, who oversaw the firm’s award submission was there to collect the award on behalf of the firm.

Wendy said: ” This is a great achievement for our top quality Private Client Service team. We beat off stiff competition in winning this, the other finalists both have very significant trust and private client practices so we are absolutely delighted to win this award.”

BDO Stoy Hayward won the award due to it being a great place to work and was praised not only for the previous awards won but also its fantastic tax training. Its commitment to social responsibility and high standards of client service were also recognised.
