HudBay Appoints EY Senior Manager as Director of Tax

HudBay Minerals Inc. has announced the appointment of Mary-Lynn Oke as Director of Tax, effective November 19, 2007.

“We are pleased to have Mary-Lynn, who has extensive tax experience joining our finance team,” said Jeff Swinoga, Vice President Finance & CFO. Prior to joining HudBay, Mary-Lynn was a senior manager in the Transaction Tax Practice of Ernst & Young LLP. She has over 10 years of Canadian income tax experience, including tax planning, for private and public companies in both the resource and real estate sectors.

Mary-Lynn holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Accountant. Mary-Lynn has been an instructor for the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants’ School of Accountancy as well as tax instructor for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
