T-Mobile UK appoints Lars Nordmark as Financial Director

T-Mobile UK has appointed Lars Nordmark as Financial Director.

Lars moves to T-Mobile UK from T-Mobile Austria GmbH, Vienna, where he was Chief Financial Officer and played an integral role in the TeleRing acquisition. Before this, he was responsible for setting up the functional controlling group for T-Mobile in Western Europe and was a key member of the international finance organisation in Bonn.

Prior to joining T-Mobile in March 2003, Lars spent nine years with Orange at the operational level where he was, among other things, Finance Director in Denmark and Sweden. A Swedish national, Lars was educated in the US where he obtained his MBA from the University of Iowa, while also playing tennis on scholarship.

Lars replaces Johannes Schmidt-Schultes who has joined the Australian telecoms operator Telstra.
