The Corporate Transfer Pricing Association (CTPA) is formed
The Corporate Transfer Pricing Association (the CTPA) has announced its formation as the first independent association devoted to the interests of in-house corporate transfer pricing professionals.
The CTPA is international in scope and is incorporated as a not-for-profit trade association sponsored by Duff & Phelps, a leading provider of independent financial advisory and investment banking services, and supported by a voluntary Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is comprised of leading corporate transfer pricing professionals from such companies as Electrolux, General Motors, Hewlett-Packard, Johnson & Johnson, Merck and Nike, who will provide guidance regarding the resources made available and objectives of the CTPA.
Membership is open to in-house corporate professionals whose responsibilities include the management of transfer pricing for their companies.
Dan Peters, President of the CTPA and leader of the global Transfer Pricing practice at Duff & Phelps, said, “Transfer Pricing has become much more complex and important for our clients, who have responded by building significant in-house transfer pricing capabilities. The CTPA will be the first organization focused on meeting the needs of those transfer pricing professionals for reference resources, collaboration, and education. The CTPA will also be a vehicle for formally responding to the developing
regulatory environment.”
