Squire Sanders poaches 2 tax lawyers from Gide

Global law firm Squire, Sanders & Dempsey (Squire Sanders Swiecicki Krzesniak sp. k.), has announced the addition of two tax experts from Gide Loyrette Nouel. Associates Tomasz Hatylak and Aneta T. Kowalska join a busy and thriving team of lawyers, which increased its numbers last year with the addition of seven lawyers from Baker & McKenzie’s Warsaw office.

Hatylak is highly regarded in the Polish market. Previously head of tax at Gide’s Warsaw office, he is recognised in Chambers Global 2008 as being a leader in his field.

Hatylak is experienced in all aspects of legal tax advice including VAT, CIT, financial services’ taxation and tax litigation, as well as supervising tax audits and tax planning projects. Clients that Hatylak has advised include Pirelli RE, BNP Paribas, Dalkia SA and Enterprise Investors.

The Warsaw office forms part of Squire Sanders’ long-established Central European practice, which includes offices in Prague, Budapest and Bratislava and associate offices in Bucharest and Kyiv.
