Rathbones appoints new finance director

Rathbone Brothers Plc, a leading provider of discretionary fund management and wealth management services for private investors and trustees, has announced that Paul Stockton has agreed to join the board as finance director. It is expected that he will join the board in the late summer.Paul Stockton, aged 42, qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1999 he joined Old Mutual Plc as group financial controller, becoming director of finance in 2001 and finance director of Gerrard Limited eight months later. Following the sale of Gerrard to Barclays in 2003, Paul left in 2005 and has since worked for Euroclear in Brussels and is currently finance director of the Life Division (South) of the Pearl Group.
