Tax Lawyer Glen Atchison to become new managing partner at Harbottle & Lewis
Media and entertainment lawyers, Harbottle & Lewis, have announced that Glen Atchison, currently a partner in the tax practice, will be the firm’s new managing partner. Glen replaces Lawrence Abramson, who has been the firm’s managing partner since 2005, with effect from 1 June 2008.Glen, who has been head of the tax practice since 1998, specialises in corporate tax, personal tax and strategic tax matters.
As managing partner, he will have overall responsibility for the firm’s practice which now comprises over 80 fee earners. Glen has been a member of the firm’s Management Executive Committee since 2006. He will continue to work with the Committee in developing the firm’s strategy across practice areas and industry groups as well as general business issues.
