Baker & McKenzie LLP Partner Marc M. Levey has been recognized as one of the “Best of the Best” in tax in Legal Media Group’s (LMG) Expert Guides series 2008.

LMG’s Expert Guide series lists the leading practitioners in the legal industry based on surveys of more than 4,000 senior practitioners and in-house counsel in 60+ jurisdictions. The Best of the Best guide is a compilation of the top 25 practitioners across the world in 16 different areas of law.

Mr. Levey advises clients in a broad range of industries including pharma/life sciences, financial institutions, energy, automotive, chemicals, electronics, consumer goods, gaming, and fashion and luxury products. His practice focuses on transfer pricing and cross-border transactions, tax controversies and litigation, general corporate, international and partnership taxation, and restructuring multinational company’s global operations. Mr. Levey serves as the Chair of the Firm’s Global Transfer Pricing Steering Committee.

Mr. Levey received his J.D. from University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1972 and his B.S. from Wilkes University in 1969. He received his LL.M in Taxation with honors from University of Miami Law School in 1983. Mr. Levey joined Baker & McKenzie’s New York office in 1997, and was elected Partner in 1998. He is admitted to practice in the States of New York, California, Pennsylvania and Illinois and in the District of Columbia.
