Norton Rose hires new tax advisor in Warsaw

International legal practice Norton Rose Piotr Strawa and Partners LP has announced the arrival of Marcin Romanczuk as a tax advisor in the Warsaw office on 2 June 2008. Marcin joins from Baker & McKenzie where he was a senior associate specialising in tax. He has particular expertise in transfer pricing rules.

“Our office is experiencing a substantial period of growth, having recently acquired a new real estate team of two partners and two of counsels, and an energy team. The appointment of Marcin, a recognised tax expert in the Polish market, is a strategic decision we have made to enable us to offer a more holistic service to our clients as our practice grow.”

This announcement follows the recent appointments of partners David Dixon and Agnieszka Stankiewicz who head up the Warsaw real estate practice and Rafal Hajduk, who leads the energy practice. The office now has five partners.
