Jelle Bakker moves from PwC Slovakia to Ukraine to strengthen FS tax practice

PricewaterhouseCoopers has strengthened its Ukrainian firm with the addition of a new tax director.

Jelle R. Bakker was invited to join PwC Ukraine, Tax and Legal Services practice as director. He joined PwC Ukraine on 1 July 2008, after serving as Financial Services Leader at PwC Slovakia for more than a year. He has been entrusted with the coordination and development of PwC Ukraine’s Financial Services. Jelle has extensive ITS experience in the Financial Services area, as he spent many years with ABN AMRO Bank in their global ITS planning group. There he was responsible for structured finance products. Before joining PwC, Jelle was with another Big 4 accounting firm in the Netherlands and Moscow, working in its International Tax Practice.
