“Ian Luder, a tax partner at Grant Thornton, is poised to become the next Lord Mayor of the City of London.

Luder, currently one of the City’s sheriffs, has been chosen by the Court of Aldermen as the preferred candidate to be the Lord Mayor for a year from November.”
