Tax Partner appointed to board of Triple 8 Energy

Triple 8 Energy Ltd. which trades on the TSX Venture Exchange ( held its 2008 Annual Meeting on August 21, 2008. At the meeting, the shareholders elected the directors with one exception.

Mr. Wendel Muhlbach did not wish to stand for re-election. Management nominated Mr. Jehad Haymour as director in place of Mr. Muhlbach. Mr. Haymour is a Tax Partner with the law firm of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in Calgary.
