New Tax Director at PwC Prague: David Borkovec
David Borkovec (36) has been appointed Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers´ Tax and Legal Services. In his new role he will be responsible for tax services relating to international tax planning and transfer pricing.
David Borkovec stated:
“To be appointed director means both great success and a challenge for me. I personally consider international tax planning and transfer pricing one of the most interesting areas of tax advisory, where skilled tax knowledge are combined with conceptual thinking. The aim of tax planning is not only to find solutions that are tax-favourable but ones that enable optimal combination of tax advantages with commercial and practical configuration.”
David Borkovec has been working for PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1999 and has specialised in provision of corporate income tax advisory. He has focused on proposing tax-favourable holding and finance structures, restructuring of companies, tax aspects of international transactions, and transfer-pricing methodology, documentation and advance rulings.
David Borkovec graduated from the Prague University of Economics. He is a member of the Czech Chamber of Tax Advisors, the International Fiscal Association and the Tax Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Prague. He is fluent in English.
