PwC transfers TP Senior Manager from Chicago to Prague
Natalia Pryhoda, 32, has been appointed as a Senior Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers´ Tax and Legal Services department. In her new role, she will be responsible for client offerings in the area of transfer pricing in the Czech Republic, and will be an important contributor to development of the transfer pricing practice in the CEE territory.
Natalia Pryhoda stated:
“Most international trade is carried out within multinational groups, thus transfer pricing can have significant effects on corporate profits and government revenues – it is an exciting area to work in. Transfer pricing is often viewed purely as a compliance issue, yet broader experience suggests that this is also an opportunity to enable operational and financial efficiencies.
Transfer pricing can be a complex area at times, but the goal for both the business community and the tax authority is to find a simple and fair solution. Our clients are looking for a trusted advisor with this framework in mind, who strives to understand ’who is doing what for whom’ and how this affects the profit drivers of the business.”
Natalia joined PwC’s transfer pricing practice in Chicago, United States in 2000, and has spent one year on a secondment to the International Tax Services practice in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Through her prior experience, Natalia has been involved in numerous global documentation and planning studies, APA and audit defence cases, implementation of principal structures, intercompany service fee and royalty analyses, and other economic research and valuation work. Currently, Natalia is the CEE territory representative of a global transfer pricing documentation initiative.
Natalia graduated from Ivan Franko National University of L’viv, Ukraine with a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics (Honours), and from Loyola University of Chicago with a Master in Business Administration degree.
