WTAS recruits two new Managing Directors in LA
Richard (Dick) Cole, a former partner with Grant Thornton; and Tim Croushore, a former Managing Director at Mesirow Financial Consulting, recently joined the Los Angeles office of WTAS LLC (formerly Wealth and Tax Advisory Services, Inc.) as Managing Directors in the Corporate Tax and Valuation Services groups, respectively.
Cole has been a tax partner in public accounting for over twenty years and served in the national office of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington D.C. for eight years.

Prior to coming to WTAS, Cole served as an International Tax Partner at Grant Thornton, focusing on corporate, reorganization, and international tax. He has extensive background in manufacturing and distribution, high-tech and personal service operations, and has implemented export incentives and hybrid structures to maximize tax benefits for U.S. taxpayers exporting abroad.

Croushore has been in the valuation business for over twenty-two years and possesses extensive experience in the Sports, Media & Entertainment; Private Equity & Hedge Fund; and Hospitality & Leisure industries.

Prior to joining WTAS, Croushore was a Managing Director at Mesirow Financial Consulting and worked in a similar capacity at Navigant Consulting. He also served as a principal (non-CPA partner) in the Financial Advisory Services practice at Deloitte & Touche. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), has testified as an expert witness on valuation matters, and has written and spoken extensively on valuation topics.

Cole and Croushore are among ten new Managing Directors at WTAS within the last nine months and their arrival is representative of the firm’s 300% growth over the past six years.
