Charles Staveley is new FD at Capital & Regional

Capital & Regional plc, the co-investing property asset manager, announces that Charles Staveley has been appointed Group Finance Director and will join the Board with effect from 1 October.  

Charles Staveley joined the Company in September 2007 as Deputy Finance Director.  Since joining he has supported William Sunnucks on a number of projects and worked with Hugh Scott-Barrett on the Group’s strategic planning.  Aged 45, Charles qualified as a (tax trained) Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and has additional tax and treasury qualifications.  Before joining the Company he was Head of Tax and Treasury at COLT Telecommunication Group, where he was responsible for implementing a new offshore group holding structure and refinancing the group.  Prior to that he has held roles with various other companies, including De La Rue Group plc, Textron Inc and Novar Group plc.
